ESMAR Symphonic Band
The ESMAR Symphonic Band is one of the largest groups of the High Performance School of Music.
It is made up of students from the first to fourth year and its operation is organized in intensive meetings, in which work is done in a similar way to that of a professional symphony band.
Each of the meetings is led by a director of internationally recognized prestige, so the meeting becomes a learning experience with that director.
The meetings are also spaces for human and musical experiences with other colleagues, moments of great artistic intensity, days of rehearsals and hard work, but also of interpretive experiences of the highest level.
The repertoire of the meetings always includes a solo piece with a band, in which an ESMAR student who has obtained an honours degree in his/her speciality performs as a soloist. Leading a symphonic band of this level and under the baton of a conductor like our guest conductors is another of the great experiences that will forever mark the musical life of our students.
The best way to be professionally prepared to be part of a professional symphonic band is to work as they do there, and this is what we achieve in the ESMAR Symphonic Band.
