The Brotherhood of San Jerónimo presents a new series of concerts in collaboration with ESMAR

The Brotherhood of San Jerónimo of the Colegio del Arte Mayor de la Seda and the Escuela Superior de Música de Alto Rendimiento present the new cycle Los concierto del huerto, a charity initiative that will host a performance each month by relevant groups and soloists and that aims to enrich the cultural agenda of Valencia.

The aims of the series are to hold concerts and promote orchestral, symphonic and chamber music, to offer young talents the opportunity to perform in a privileged space with more than five centuries of history, and to contribute with the entrance fees to support various institutions and charitable causes.

The project will begin with the inaugural concert of the Llíria Primitive Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Juan José Aguado, and musicians from ESMAR, to benefit the Spanish Association Against Cancer, on Sunday 21 April at 11am. José Eduardo Puertes Pérez, president of the San Jerónimo Brotherhood, has highlighted “the Brotherhood's charitable function, as well as its promotion of Valencian culture and values”.

Carles Subiela and Alejandro Monzonís, president and vice president of ESMAR, stressed that “it is a pleasure to collaborate in this cultural and charitable initiative; it will be very exciting for the students to share their talent with the public.”
