Juanlu Puelles is one of the most outstanding Spanish musicians of his generation for his extensive training and international experience.
He collaborates in large orchestras such as London Symphony Orchestra, Mahler Chamber Orchestra and Les Dissonances. In 2014 he won the position of one of the best orchestra in Asia, Macao Orchestra.

In Asia he collaborates with Hong Kong Philharmonic, Malasyan Philharmonic and is awarded with full scholarship by the Music Masters Course Japan festival under the direction of Alan Gilbert.

He is the Artistic Director of the International Clarinetasia Competition and has been invited as a professor in the United States, China and Spain.
Juanlu Puelles currently resides in Valencia as a professor at ESMAR (Higher School of High Performance Music) and MUSIKEX (Higher School of Music of Extremadura).
He is founder with his teacher Vicente Alberola of the MMCV (Music Masters Course Valencia).

Besides his musical training he has dedicated himself to research on how to improve the health of the musician, he has trained in Barcelona with Malen Cicerol in the Diafreo body method for three years, he has received classes in Asian methods of postural education, Sensory Awareness training with Enric Bruguera and Alexander Technique classes with Montse Lopez and Anne Lauda, Yoga with Ritesh Kumar, among others.

Winner of different competitions in Spain like Almendralejo and Banda Municipal de Musica de Badajoz with 20 years old.
His official studies are conducted by José Luis Estelles at the Higher School of Music of the Basque Country MUSIKENE, and in Germany with the clarinetists of the Munich Philharmonic of Sergio Celibidache: Martin Spangengberg and Ralph Manno.

Member of young orchestras in Germany (Jungendnorddeutsche Philharmonie and Bayreuth Festival).

He has received master classes from musicians such as Lorenzo Iosco, Bruno Martínez, Juan Manuel Lumbreras, Asier Polo, Sabine Meyer, Carlos Gil, Martin Fröst, Alessandro Carbonare, Françoise Benda, Harri Mäki, Johannes Peitz, Casals Quartet, Gabor Varga, Luismi Méndez …
