Marisol Boullosa was born in Amsterdam. She completed her advanced studies in music with an emphasis in vocal music at the Conservatorio Superior de Música Joaquín Rodrigo de Valencia and extended her studies at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. She holds a soloist master’s degree from the Codarts Conservatoire in Rotterdam (Netherlands), a master’s in cultural management from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, and a post-graduate degree in “Relaciones institucionales, protocolo y organización de eventos” (Institutional relations, protocol and event organization). She collaborates regularly with the Chorus of the Gran Teatre del Liceu, Teatro Real Chorus in Madrid, Intermezzo, Cor de la Generalitat Valenciana, Bach Koor Holland and Coral de Cámara de Pamplona.

She is additionally a music consultant and the staff coordinator responsible for project follow-up at the Mucho Ruido & Muchas Nueces S.L. communications and media company. She managed the Ad Libitum Artis arts agency until 2016. She has coordinated projects such as: Residencies Moonwinds, Auditori de Barcelona; Orfeo ed Euridice by la Fura del Baus; the International Festival of Music and Dance of Granada; OSN Social (Orquesta Sinfónica de Navarra); Festival Internacional Residencies de Música de Cambra de Godella; and the “FerMúsica Entre Tots” project for people with functional disabilities (Palau de la Música de Valencia). She is currently managing director of the cultural project company Nova Lux Artean S.L.

She also founded and has been on the executive board of the ARTS. Cultura y Desarrollo association since its creation in 2009, an organization with which she carries out cooperative cultural projects in Paraguay, Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger and Equatorial Guinea, among others.

She balances her professional focus as a singer and cultural manager with education. She has given courses in chamber music and voice classes in conservatories in Rabat and Casablanca (Morocco), Conservatorio Nacional de Asunción (Paraguay), Centros Culturales de Bata y Malabo (Equatorial Guinea). From 2013 to 2016, she taught promotion techniques and legislation as professor in the master’s degree in operatic performance at the Conservatorio Superior de Música Joaquín Rodrigo in Valencia. She currently teaches music management and career counseling as professor at the Conservatorio Superior de Música Oscar Esplá in Alicante.
