Vicente Alberola is one of the most recognized Spanish musicians internationally for his long career as a clarinettist and conductor.

Recently he has been acclaimed by the critics after conducting in the prestigious Beijing Music Festival 2019 to one of the best orchestras in the world,
the Mahler Chamber Orchestra, in which he is also the principal clarinet.

He has conducted other great orchestras such as Teodor Currentzis musicAeterna ensemble, one of his mentors.

He has been invited many times as a solo clarinetist by orchestras such as Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in Amsterdam, New York Philharmonic Orchestra, Lucerne Festival Orchestra, World Orchestra for Peace (WOP), Danish Radio of Copenhagen and the Camerata of Bern with violinist Patricia Kopatchinskaja.

He is a founder member of worldwide reference and revolutionary projects such as Les Dissonances in Paris and Music Masters Course Japan MMCJ.

In Spain he has directed Orquesta del Valles , Orquesta Sinfonica de Valencia, Orquesta Sinfonica de Valladolid, Orquesta Sinfonica de Madrid, JONDE, Orquesta Joven de Galicia, among many others.

He has been invited as a teacher throughout the world, currently focusing his pedagogical activity in the ESMAR (Higher School of High Performance Music) in Valencia, where he lives and is Artistic Director of MMCV (Music Masters Course Valencia).

He studied with Walter Boeykens at the Royal Conservatory in Antwerp, Belgium, and at the same time with George Pieterson (Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra) and Larry Combs (Chicago Symphony Orchestra). Alberola was for more than 20 years the first clarinet of the Opera of the Royal Theater of Madrid and the Symphony of Galicia.
He has had the opportunity to interpret the great symphonic repertoire under the baton of masters such as Claudio Abbado, Mariss Jansons, Valery Gergiev, Riccardo Muti, Daniele Gatti, Daniel Harding, Andris Nelsons, Gustavo Dudamel, Alan Gilbert and Nicola Luisotti, among others.

In 2003 he was appointed director of the Youth Orchestra of the Opera of Madrid and in 2007 director of the Youth Orchestra of Soria.
Vicent Alberola has directed the following operas at the Teatro Real de Madrid with the Madrid Symphony: Rita by G. Donizetti, La Boheme by G. Puccini, Don Giovani de WAMozart, Persephone by I. Stravinsky, Puss in Boots X .Montsalvatge, Iolanta de PITchaikovsky, Macbeth de G. Verdi and more recently L’Elissir d’Amore de G.Donizetti.
