ESMAR International Oboe Seminar 2025-2026
ESMAR organizes a new edition of the International Oboe Seminar.
The seminar will be organized in weekend meetings from October to May.
Course objectives and organization:
- Individual 1-hour classes where the student will work on the repertoire of literature for oboe.
- We will work on pieces from the oboe repertoire covering all periods and styles.
- Preparation for entrance exams, selection procedures and competitive examinations.
- Classroom work on the entire process of making reeds (tying, scraping, studying different materials and techniques).
The course is designed as a collective and participatory activity. This means that the student is not limited to a one-hour class. It is a course designed so that students stay throughout the activity, listening to the rest of the classes, in which the repertoire worked on by each student can be very useful for the rest.
Schedule of meetings:
- OCTOBER: 17th and 31th
- NOVEMBER: 14th and 28nd
- DECEMBER: 5th and 19th
- JANUARY: 9th and 23th
- FEBRUARY: 7 and 21
- MARCH: 13 and 27
- APRIL: 17th and 24th
- MAY: 8th and 22rd
Schedule of meetings:
Friday: 10am to 15pm
Number of places: 5
Nota: If more applications are received, the possibility of admitting two more students and expanding the schedule will be considered.
Price:
The total price of the course (8 months / 16 meetings) is €1.600
€50 will be paid as a registration deposit and the remainder in monthly installments from October to May.
