Higher Degree in Music – Specialty: Conducting

In designing the Curriculum for the Conducting specialty, ESMAR has made an innovative offer to achieve the best training for future professional conductors. To this end, there will be 24 credits for the Conducting Technique subject, a very ambitious commitment that will include a program of mainly practical classes with the participation of different groups (orchestra, band, choir and soloists) tutored by our teaching staff. The Composition and Instrumentation subject will complete the specific part of these studies with a total of 6 credits.

Without neglecting the comprehensive training oriented towards the work of conducting, the subject of Analysis and Musical Language represents a highly applied approach to all these contents. In addition to the foreign language and the mastery of technologies, it also covers the field of music and is linked to the professional practice of conductors.

In short, a curriculum designed to acquire the necessary skills required to practice the profession of director in these times.
