Interpretation + Pedagogy, Production and Management + Pedagogy
ESMAR offers the possibility of taking the specialties of Interpretation and Pedagogy and those of Production and Management and Pedagogy at the same time. Students who are taking any of the four courses in the specialties of Interpretation and Production and Management may apply.
Students who choose this option must complete 96 additional credits.
Students studying the specialty of Interpretation or Production and Management will only have to take the following subjects in the specialty of Pedagogy.
1st year (18 credits):
- History and Foundations of Music Education
- General Music Didactics I
- Legislation Applicable to Artistic Education
2st year (18 credits):
- Theory of Music Education
- General Music Didactics II
- Organization and Management of Music Education Centers
3st year (24 credits):
- Psychology, Sociology and Music Education
- Teaching Musical Language
- Methodology of evaluation in music
- Teaching practices
4st year (36 credits):
- Methodology of Music Research
- Management Techniques
- Teaching Instrumental Practice
- Teaching practices
- Final Degree Project
The rest of the subjects in the Pedagogy Curriculum will be taken only once in the Interpretation specialty.
Organisation
The subjects of the Pedagogy specialty will be taught intensively.
Students will be provided with a class schedule before the start of the course.
Registration
- Interested parties must send their application via the Contact Form, specifying in the COMMENT the interest in taking this modality.
- Payment will be made as follows:
- 500€ at the start of the course
- The rest in different monthly installments. The student may choose the total number of monthly installments that he prefers to pay the total amount, up to a maximum of 9 monthly installments.
