Interpretation + Production and Management

ESMAR offers the possibility of studying the specialties of Interpretation and Production and Management at the same time. Students who are currently studying any of the four courses in the Interpretation specialties may apply.

Students who choose this option must complete 132 additional credits.

Students who study the Interpretation specialty will only have to take the following subjects from the Production and Management specialty:

1st year (30 credits):

  • Production and Programming in Performing Arts I
  • Marketing Applied to Culture and Performing Arts I
  • Legislation Applicable to Artistic Activity I
  • Human Resources Management in Artistic Contexts and Groups I
  • Economic Management in Artistic Contexts and Activities I

2st year (30 credits):

  • Production and Programming in Performing Arts II
  • Marketing Applied to Culture and Performing Arts II
  • Legislation Applicable to Artistic Activity II
  • Human Resources Management in Artistic Contexts and Groups II
  • Economic Management in Artistic Contexts and Activities II

3st year (30 credits):

  • Production and Programming in Performing Arts III
  • Promotion and Representation of Artists I
  • Legislation Applicable to Artistic Activity III
  • Management of Artistic Companies I
  • External Internships

4st year (42 credits):

  • Production and Programming in Performing Arts IV
  • Promotion and Representation of Artists II
  • Legislation Applicable to Artistic Activity IV
  • Management of Artistic Companies II
  • External Internships
  • Grad Thesis

Organisation

The subjects of the Production and Management specialty will be taught intensively.

Students will have a class schedule before the start of the course.

Requirements

  1. Pass a specific test that will consist of: Commentary on a proposed text and its defense before the tribunal, related to cultural management, where the student's ability and maturity are demonstrated. The test will be carried out through oral defense for a maximum of 15 minutes.
    This test will be organized during the months of July and September 2020. Registration for the test will be done through the Contact Form.
  2. Be studying the Interpretation specialties (any course) at ESMAR.
  3. Graduates with a degree from the LOE plan or from previous plans (LOGSE, Plan 66, etc.) can also benefit from this option. In this case, students must request recognition of credits from the ISEACV and also take those that are not recognized. However, if you have a degree from the LOE PLAN, all the Basic Training subjects will be recognized.

Registration

  1. Applicants must first sit the entrance exams for the two specialties. Once they have passed the entrance exams and confirmed their place in this modality, interested parties must:
  2. Carry out the ONLINE REGISTRATION procedure through the Contact Form.
  3. Payment will be made as follows:
    • 500€ at the start of the course
    • The rest in different monthly installments. The student may choose the total number of monthly installments that he prefers to pay the total amount, up to a maximum of 9 monthly installments.
